Taurie Roman, MS, LPCA
Taurie Roman is a clinical therapist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling from Canisius College, Buffalo, NY. Throughout her career, she has worked with children, teens, families, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings. She began her post-undergraduate career working with children and teens struggling with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges in the day-treatment setting. Taurie provides treatment in substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, attention deficit disorder, relationship issues, stress management and coping skills, low self-esteem, communication, couples counseling, and parenting guidance. Taurie’s counseling approach is heavily reliant on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
