Lauren D. Keyes, MSW, LCSWA, CAMS-II

Lauren Keyes is a clinical therapist and certified anger management specialist.  She also has extensive clinical and teaching experience with a professional background in Multidimensional Family Therapy. Lauren graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 2007 with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree. She later continued on through the Advanced Standing Program with the School of Social Welfare, earning her Master of Social Work degree in 2008. Throughout her career, Lauren has worked with adults, children and adolescents, and families via inpatient, outpatient, home, and group settings. Lauren’s clinical experience includes assisting individual and families coping with substance concerns and domestic violence. Lauren is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting fellowship, community service, education, and awareness. Lauren is also the founder of the ‘No Shade Initiative’, a program for teens and young adults geared toward bullying prevention and awareness. Lauren enjoys operating from a strengths-based perspective, and utilizes different therapy modalities including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
