Rachel Burns is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and sees adolescents, adults, and groups. She earned her Master of Education from NC State University in 2018. Rachel has had experience working with young adults at NC State University through individual and group counseling using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based approach, mindfulness techniques, and person-centered therapy. She values trust and the power of the collaborative therapeutic relationship, and this drives her to create an authentic space in the therapy room to allow you to process through your deepest thoughts and feelings. Rachel’s previous work with individuals consists of a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship issues, career exploration, addiction, and many more.
